We have a dream, a dream to create an inclusive and adaptable community hub in Hobart

We think there's a gap between neighbourhood houses, and organisation specific day programs. This could be filled with a communal physical space everyone can access, regardless of who supports them or what their needs are. To that end, we have created a non-profit organisation called Appleton Park with the aim of using this entity to build what we think the community needs.

Our Goals

To create disability specific infrastructure

To integrate formal supports with community spaces

To facilitate people with a disability to acquire skills, connection and purpose
